PostSubject: Snow ick   Snow ick EmptyThu 30 Dec 2010 - 14:32

OK, who is with me with already being tired of this winter?! I normally don't like winter because I am always looking forward to the next chase season. Now to add on constant storms with so much snow. Here in Fargo, by this time of year, our average snowfall is just over 12 inches. We are pushing 40 inches with one storm barreling at us right now (under a blizzard warning) that is supposed to drop 6-9 inches before midnight and another storm comes in Friday afternoon bringing another blizzard and a ton of snow too. I so hate winter!

Bring it on! I spent (wasted) 3 winters just outside of Seattle, Washington thanks to the Navy and they very rarely got snow! The one significant snow fall they did get while I was stationed there, I missed because I was on leave that Christmas here in Indiana. We have had a few snow falls this year already here, but it only totaled about 8 inches to date and all of it melted today thanks to the 41 degree temps and rain. This weekend is not gonna be any better. Supposed to get a couple inches of rain and T-storms due to the 50 degree temps. I am doing a snow dance and praying for a good foot or 2 of snow at one time real soon!

So what gives?!?!!?!?! I asked for 2 feet of snow, now tornadoes! Illinois is putting out tornado warning after tornado warning. Right now they are just over the state line almost to Indiana. Decisions, decisions.....To DJ a New Years party tonight and make $300 or to chase in the dark and make no money...........

Not worth it in the dark... take the 300 for a chance to chase in daylight.
