Hell of a melt taking place

There is one hell of a melt taking place here in SF. Current temp is 46 and expected high today in the 50's. Predicting some major flooding.

We'll be back in the 30's later this week so hopefully that slows down the melt a bit

Hopefully slows down melting??? Are you crazy? Give me the flood - out with the snow!

The flood is great from a chaser perspective but SF floods bad with sewage backing up in peoples basements. Nasty when someone elses turds are flaoting in your basement.

We have had very little melt the last month here in Fargo. We are supposed to get into the 40s next week so I'm sure we'll see a major melt starting up here. Sadly, NOAA is predicting the Red River in Fargo to surpass our record flood in 2009. I sure hope I have a home left!!!

Our warm-up begins tomorrow. Flooding will occure by mid-week.

it might rain to so that isn't gonna help matters either..

Just speed up the melt. River still looks ok but seeing open water so give it a day or 2 and the ice sheets will start breaking up
