Welcome 2010!

Over this last year we had some great successes as a team and some really big kicks in the rear. But the team survived, and I feel with an even stronger desire.
We're moving into our 3 chase season and while many chasers still debate if 2010 will be a big bang or a big bust, ExWx as a team will have a pretty exciting year. First I want to acknowledge Joe Q, and Mike V, who have been hard at work building us a new and improved website. That's right, we now have a permenent dedicated team website with our own domain. It is still recieving finishing touches and will be unvailed soon. Anyone with youtube videos who would like to submit videos for the new site send Joe Quinn a pm with a link to the video. The forum will remain but we will migrate some of the items there.

There are some other things in the works so stay tuned in for those announcments.

I encourage anyone with ideas and suggestions to please share them in the suggestion section

When the website is launched the logo button on our toolbar will link to the new site. I think we'll do that 1 week prior to the actual launch so our members can see it first and offer comments on it. So keep checking that.

is there a preview of it for us to see or something? should we leave the suggestions in here, seeing how the only real people who are gonna leave comments are probably the team.. as far as youtube videos, what type cause I have over 200

We're gonna release it to the team about a week or so before it's announced so that we can get some input about it before it's released. Right now, it's not fully together and what is on it right now can change a lot before it's actually finished. So for the time being just list any ideas you have here.

As for videos, just find the best ones you have (preferably not all 200... lol) and send me the youtube links. Then I'll go through those and add them.

Oh - and to all Team Members:

If you wish to have a bio on the site, please provide one short paragraph summing up your experience beginning to end.

So far it look great, the domain is easy to remember. I just need to time my time and get to know the website.

I guess im most curious is, is the site made from scratch or is it modified from wordpress or similar website makers?

For videos, to make it a bit easier. Would you like for us to have each video seprate or make them all into a specific player (playlist) so all you have to do it play and then go to the next video within the same player

We are using the Drupal engine.

What we do for videos is paste the code (not url) of the youtube video directly into the page. It doesn't matter to me really if they are in play lists because I have to copy and paste each video's code separately.

Rob, I can explain how to input data into the site if you would like. I pretty much have it all figured out.

Im still trying to figure out what to write on my bio. Its going to be a boring year for me. Im not chasing, and im going to try to stay productive... We better have a active season so i dont get bord

My chasing started in 2007 on my own but the reall grip of it came in 2004 of my last yr of high school.
